Saint Columb’s Cathedral

The Ladies Choir was formed by Dean Morton in 1998 to sing at the newly introduced 10.00 am Family Services which took place every 4th Sunday in the month.  Initially there were 25 members and rehearsed twice a month in the Deanery.  The choir sang at the Healing services and when the Dean was holding Holy Communion services in Jack Allen Court.

Then in 2000 they took part in a Sam Starrett/Tracey McRory play called Premonition which was performed in the Cathedral and a special recording was made, which is still available on CD!!

Over the years the numbers have sadly depleted, but the choir are always keen to take on new members.
